根据我对文章的理解,一个OEM版本的显著特征就在于四个OEMbios文件(OEMbios.bi_OEMbios.ca_OEMbios.da_OEMbios.si_)和一个setupp.ini文件。

PS. setupp.ini才是正确的文件名,而不是网上文章中的setuppp.ini。

No one is clear?

Ma Yingjiu, the current chairman of Kuo Ming Dang (Nationals Party), was investigated for corruption of the special administrative fee.

I heard this news yesterday.

I thought it was very stupid for Chen's advocates to do that because I believed in Ma. He was a senior politician although he looked young and handsome. He worked as Attorney General of Taiwan years ago. I thought he was more skillful in handling these problems, after all he was in charge of political power for many years, unlike Chen who was taking the power for only 6 years. It is imaginable for him to earn extra interests for him and his family when he seizes the power. But Ma, an old fox in politics, should not fall on such tiny matters.

But it proved that I was wrong. Ma admitted that his staff had used irrelevant invoices to claim the special fee. He did it in person or not, it doesn't matter now. His falling reveals one thing: no politician is clear if you really investigate them.

I was very disappointed.

What if we were given another opportunity, would it be different, would we choose a whole different path?

These days the television was full of political news about Taiwan's corrupted president Chen Shuibian. People are parading to ask him to resign, which would be impossible a few years earlier.

Before 2000 or so, Taiwan was not very different from Main Land China in political forms. There was only one party running the politics -- Kuo Ming Dang. It was an one party rule in Taiwan as it is still now in China. But the last president of Kuo Ming Dang -- Li Denghui changed everything. He ended the one party political structure in Taiwan, clearing all political obstacles and introducing the democratic system in this island. Chen Shuibian and his party took that chance and made the presidency in Taiwan. It seems to me that Li Denghui was like former leader of Soviet Union, Gorbachev. They both ended the future of their own party and led their country into a very different path.

The details of how they did that was not very clear to me and I will keep studying in this issue. My concern here is: "if one day someone like Li and Gorbachev appears in China, people were given another choice, what path would they choose?"

In my opinion, this question is not quit absurd because the history always repeats.

But what would I do, if I were given the power to change everything?

That is a question.

Larry Yung: China's first 'red tycoon'

By Francesco Guerrera in New York

Published: November 10 2006 20:25 Last updated: November 10 2006 20:25

From his office in the glass-covered Citic Tower, the company's chairman Larry Yung can enjoy two somewhat contradictory views of modern Hong Kong. On one side is the territory's splendid harbour, criss-crossed by ships that act as constant reminders of its citizens' hunger for commerce. On the opposite side, the drab headquarters of the Chinese army, whose lifeless
exterior belies the activities of the men charged with policing the capitalist enclave.

This tension between entrepreneurial endeavour and attention to the wishes of his political masters has marked the long-career of the 64-year-old billionaire.

The scion of a powerful Shanghai family that fell on hard times during the Cultural Revolution and was rehabilitated by the reformist leader Deng Xiaoping, Mr Yung became the first tycoon from communist China to make his mark abroad.

Helped by impeccable political connections – Rong Yiren, his father, was China's vice-resident – Mr Yung's relentless deal making helped the government-owned Citic Pacific to break into the cosy group of Hong Kong tycoons and conglomerates that had thrived under British rule.

By acquiring large stakes in iconic companies such as Cathay Pacific, the territory's de-facto flag carrier, and strategic industries such as power, Mr Yung showed influential figures that Beijing-backed companies were a force to be reckoned with. His status as the first "red tycoon" enabled him to penetrate the circle of grandees that dominated Hong Kong's conomy and turned him into a living example of Beijing's "one country, two systems" policy.

His 1994 election as one of the stewards of the Jockey Club – one of the territory’s most influential institutions – in a seat traditionally reserved for Jardine Matheson, was seen as a rite of passage for the soon-to-be former British colony.

In recent years, however, Mr Yung became a less visible presence in Hong Kong despite a steady rise in his fortune, estimated at $2bn. Some watchers argue that, as more Chinese state companies listed on overseas markets, Citic became less important as an acquisition vehicle for the mainland. Others note that Citic’s industrial portfolio transformed it into a utility and that Mr Yung had to concentrate on running its large operations.

Mr Yung's latest foray into Anglo-American may be part of Beijing's plans to control more natural resources or a personal investment to diversify his large wealth. Either way, it reinforces the description Mr Yung gave the Financial Times in 1999: "Call me a gambler or call me a fighter. I won't deny I have an appetite for risk."

Why there is always somebody say bad things about economic solutions.

For example, if I want to buy a lap-top computer, the suggestion will always go to IBM, HP or Sony. When I mentioned that I would like to try something cheaper, there will always be negative opinions. "It must have some reasons for such a high price." "It worth very penny you spend on it." And something like that.

But it is undeniable that cheap machines also work well usually. And of course no company will guarantee that expensive ones won't break down some day.

So I decided to take my chance buying a cheap lap-top.

First I focus on Hasee, a well known cheap brand in China. It earned a reputation of "Price Killer" for its competitive price strategy. But when I got the mall, I was told I can't get one right away and I have to make an order and a deposit before I got one in one day. Although I do not have prejudices on this brand, I just can't make an order without seeing and touching a real one under the depressing reputation. So I went to my second option -- Lenovo.

Despite its recent taking over IBM's pc department, Lenovo is still a national brand in my opinion. And it gives some choices in a relatively low price. Finally, after comparing and analysing, I decided on Sunrise 410L. Public offer in RMB 4999. The dealer can make it RMB 4900 with some give-aways, including a bag and a Logitech mouse.

I took the only one in the stall.

So far it works well and I'm pretty satisfied with it.

Good Luck!Try it yourself。
